1. What is it exactly that you offer?

We offer six different types of certificates (incentives) that any business owner, non-profit agency, or individual can purchase and GIVE away to get more customers, make more sales, increase donations, stimulate referrals, use as closing tools – this list is endless on how you can incorporate these into your organization’s marketing mix.

3. What denominations do the certificates come in?

Single certificates come in five denominations… $100, $240, $300, $400 and $500. We also offer a Combo Certificate for Food & Fuel only in the $600 and $1,000 denominations.

4. What do my customers get?

Consumers can earn BACK a maximum of $20 per month per certificate for each month they spend at least $100 at the selected business. So a $100 certificate is good for 5 months @ $20.00 per month while a $500 certificate will take 25 months before they will get full value ($20 per month x 25 months = $500.00.)

5. Will my customers have to do anything extraordinary in order to get their Visa gift card each month?

Definitely not, the process is simple and easy. Our program is very similar to a typical rebate offer process that you might experience when you purchase a qualified product at a retailer. The consumer takes the certificate they receive from you, the business owner and they register it online. The address of the website and the redemption company is provided on the certificate. Please note that this is an online program which means that certificate holders must have access to a computer and the Internet in order to participate in the cash back certificate program. Additionally we offer five different programs so the registration and qualification process and terms and conditions will vary depending on which certificate is being redeemed. So the following information is the “general” process involved in the use of our cash back certificates.

At the time of registration your customers choose the specific store brand or chain they will be using for the entire redemption period. They must then mail their Registration Validation Form along with a small refundable fee to activate the registration.  After they mail their Registration Validation Form, they need to check the Member Section at www.monthlygiftcards.com to confirm their certificate has been activated. This could take 3-5 weeks to receive approval.

Then every month they will login to the website to add their receipt values and print out their monthly voucher form to mail in along with their receipts.  Once they have at LEAST $100 or $150 in receipts depending on the program, they mail those receipts and that month’s voucher to the redemption company – so the process is made very simple for your customer. There are specific requirements that each receipt must meet in order to be considered valid and time limits on when they are to be submitted. So it is very important that they read ALL of the Terms and Conditions printed on each Certificate to ensure they comply and do not get disqualified.

Remember… we are not asking the consumer to do ANYTHING out of the ordinary. No membership to buy, no need to buy anything EXTRA… just simply continue to shop/purchase goods or services at their favorite business/retailer just as they normally would if they didn’t have the certificate. The one small thing they have to do to participate is login online, log their receipts and then send in their receipts and voucher every month using an envelope and a stamp and that’s it!

6. Can I put my logo on the cash back certificates?

Most definitely, in fact we encourage it! For a small fee you can customize the certificate by adding your business name or web address or company logo. What better way to remind a customer who gave them the opportunity to participate in the redemption program than by having your logo and/or business name on the certificate they have to fill out in order to participate.

7. I only want 5 or 10 cash back certificates to try them out?

We are very sorry, but the minimum order is 25 certificates of any one type or denomination.

8. I want to try it first to make sure it works and to see what my customers will be going through, can you give me a certificate to try?

That is very admirable that you want to make sure you customers experience is a good one. We commend you highly for caring about your customer this deeply. Unfortunately, we cannot give you a certificate to try. If we did, we’d have to give one to every prospective customer who asked and that number is in the tens-of-thousands of businesses across the United States, Canada and in Puerto Rico. That is just not possible for us to do. The answer is to try a test order of just 25 certificates. And when you see they are everything we claim they are you can place a larger order for plans or promotions.

9. What specific brands and store chains participate in this program?

All food stores, gas stations, pharmacies, retailers and restaurants participate in this program. There are no exclusions. Consumers may get all five products over the course of a year, but they are only permitted one of each product per twelve (12) month period. In other words, they cannot obtain two of any one product during the course of any twelve-month period.

10. Does the $20 gift card that my customer receives every month have to be spent/used at the same store they selected upon registering the certificate?

No, your customers are given a $20 Visa gift card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted to purchase anything they choose. Or they will have the option to have the $20 deposited directly to their own Visa credit card if they have one. When they select this option they actually receive their $20 much faster usually within 24 hours after their monthly voucher and receipts have been verified.

11. Do these certificates expire?

Certificates which are printed with an expiration date expire on the printed date. Otherwise the certificates are only good for 1 year from the date of purchase. We do not recommend you order them and then hang on to them. Give them away as fast as you can. That means more customers, more sales and more money for your business.

12. Is there a time limit that my customer has to activate and use their certificate?

You must register your certificate prior to the registration deadline printed on the certificate. Once your customer registers the certificate online they have a specified number of days in which to mail in the Registration Validation Form and refundable registration fee in order for the certificate to be activated.

13. What happens if my customer does not send in receipts one month?

Unfortunately, they will lose that month’s worth of redemption.

14. Are there any restrictions or limitations on the receipts my customer must submit?

Yes – only original receipts may be submitted, with the name of the store and the date of purchase clearly visible. If the store name or date is difficult to read, the consumer may hand write the name and/or date on the front of their receipt. Receipts must be from the same grocery store chain, gas company, etc. throughout the entire redemption period, with the exception of the dining rebate product.

Additionally each product may or may not have a requirement for the receipt(s) to be considered as valid so it is important that they refer to the receipt requirements for their specific type of certificate (Food, Fuel, Retail, Dining and Pharmacy). Submitting a receipt(s) that is not valid can disqualify the submission for that month.

Using the Food Certificate as an example:  Each receipt must be comprised of a minimum of 75% food items. Food items include human food, pet food and non-alcoholic beverages. Any receipt that contains less then 75% coming from the above mentioned items will not be accepted. You can have multiple receipts from each month that total your $100 minimum excluding taxes.

15. Can I buy the cash back certificates from you and then sell them to my customers?

No. You cannot sell our certificates to your customer or any other consumer. The certificate MUST be given away or included in a bundle price for your product or service.

16. How many certificates do I have to purchase?

Not many. We have a minimum purchase requirement of 25 certificates. There is NO limit on the amount you can purchase, and the more you purchase, the better the pricing.

17. Can I mix and match the denominations of certificates?

As long as you buy the minimum of 25 certificates per denomination, of course you can mix and match between the $100, $250, $300 and $500 denominations.
